So, Jon and I are planning a vacation in february or march!! We have a few ideas, but would appreciate any suggestions if anybody has any reccomendations! We have talked aboout cruises vs. not a cruise. We have talked about South America, so I can speak Spanish! Costa Rica, Panama, and we have also thrown around the idea of Australia/New Zealand!! We can't decide if we want to do a cruise! Jon wants to but I dont know if I do!! Ideas/Suggestions would be great!!

I would do a cruise...they are a ton of fun!
I vote for a cruise, you don't have to worry about anything except eating and playing, and there is always something fun to do. I also think to go to New Zealand would be cool to.

Our cruise was AWESOME!! You can let them plan everything, a little or nothing. Total relaxation. You don't have to worry about anything!! Plus, when you port you get to visit all sorts of places then return to your floating heaven.
P.S. I have to say, that the cruise line you choose will make a HUGE deal. My mom has made some not so great choices on cruise lines and when she compares those to the nicer (more expensive) ones, there is a BIG difference. We went with Royal Carribean and it was perfect.
Maybe do a cruise to somewhere that you can use your spanish!! That's awesome you get to go on a vacation, I am jealous.
Cruises are really fun! Australia and New Zealand would be super awesome though, I don't know if you could beat that. We had fun in the Virgin Island on our honeymoon so thats a good one too :). I'm excited to see what you decide.
We have been on a cruise! It was a lot of fun but I felt like we didn't have enough time on each island to do what we wanted to. Plus...if you get motion sickness....well you will need pills and the wrist band. I didn't get that sick till the last day which was stormy. So you might be fine. I did love being able to go to 5 different stops instead of just one. I would go to Paris if I had a choice!
How about Hawaii?
I second Royal Caribbean. I went on one of their cruises and I loved it! Go with one of the larger and newer ships. There is way more to do on them.
I know of a killer deal on a cruise - 5 night Mexican cruise, $650 (including airfare!). Let me know if you're interested...
We are going on a cruise in may and can't wait!!!!! I've never been but heard they are the way to travel! We're doing the Mexican Riviera 7 day cruise for $370 with Carnival(you could speak spanish if you did that) and leaving from california so we're just driving down to save money. Good luck planning!
