Our wonderful friends, Mike and Ashley, are coming out to visit us for one week!! We are sooo excited for them to come! We had so much fun with them over Christmas vacation! And they will be here for my birthday too!! They are going to stay with Jon and I, in the spare bedroom. Jon and I bought aquarium passes to the Monterey Aquarium, which is known as the best in the United States! And because we bought a year pass, we can get our friends in for free! Mike is going to bring his motorcycle out and we are all going to go for rides out here by the coast! It is the best view for a bike ride!!

I will be turning 24 !!!
I am sooooo incredibly nervous for this day! I can speak great just having casual conversation, but as soon as I go into a test, I get nervous and it effects my speaking. I have to get above a certain score, to get a diploma from the course. Everyone will graduate, regardless if they pass these tests or not, but in order to get a diploma, one must get certain scores!! SCARY!!!

Each of these tests is 3 hours long!!! It is very very difficult and long. Out of all the languages taught at DLI, It is said that the Spanish and Arabic tests are the hardest of all. (In other words, the Spanish test is harder than Chinese, Ruissian, Thai, Persian, French, etc!!! CRAZY!!!) Again, with this test, you have to get above a certain score to get a diploma. So the 3 main areas tested are: Speaking, Reading, and Listening.
Jon's course does not end until October, therefore, they have a class break that goes from May 1st thru May 10th. We are not sure what we are going to do over this break time, Maybe go home to Utah? Im not sure! But we are looking forward to this break time to spend together!!

Unfortunately, Jon will be back in school and will not be able to go! :( I am going to miss him, but he will get lots of nice presents from me! Not all of my family is going, just my mom and 2 sisters for now, my older brother may come but not sure! We found a great deal for flight there, and hotel. Plus we are finding that it is very cheap to go by train to bordering countries!! We will be there roughly one week! I am so excited and can hardly wait for this trip!! I have never been to Europe!

To be honest, I am DREADING this day. I have loved my spanish class, the teachers, and the people in it! I am going to cry when this course is over. I will miss everyone! Luckily, my best friend Cristina does not leave Monterey until June. Which is going to be another day I am going to dread!! I really dont want this day to come. lol. I am going to be SAD!!!!! But so glad that I had this wonderful opportunity that I will never get again! And I am so happy that I can now speak spanish!!

Wow the listening Spanish test seems like the hardest. I'd need to rewind the tape a million times because listening is not a good skill of mine (I think I'd do better on the reading part). Are you allowed to rewind the tape/CD?
I updated my blog for once! I'm going to keep updating the same post over time and add more belly pics each week as I grow. So far so good. No spotting or anything. :)

Holy crap those boots are frightening...thankfully the watch makes up for it! We can't wait - they prayers are already going out for sun so Mike & I can get a tan (our white legs are totally scaring little children...). Let the countdown begin!!!!

I thought I was imagining the 2nd line on the pregnancy test. I was staring at it seeing if it would show up or not. It took a few minutes, so when it did start to show up I wasn't sure if it was real! I kept staring at it to make sure I was really seeing a 2nd line.
Then when I took the 2nd test (and got a blood test) the next day I new it was for real! :D

I am so jealous! I want to go over to Europe so bad. It would be fun to stay for like a month and just travel everywhere. Good luck on your tests.

You have so much coming up! how exciting! Oh!! you will absolutely LOVE Europe! Make sure you stop on the side of the road and just run on the beautiful green hills with all the lambs!! i promise, you will remember it!

Oh, and Kembri is just a tomboy.... she split her lip by swinging into the ground and her lower teeth went through her bottom lip!! the many adventures of children you have to look forward to!! ;)
